Snowdonia\u2019s Mountains
\nProtect us
\nThe winds threaten
\nOften, and we
\nWho live in the various areas
\nPerhaps near an estuary
\nSuffer the wintry vagaries
\nThe menacing thunderous roar
\nThat comes into the stone houses vistas
\nA banshee that few dare ignore<\/p>\n
Chimneys and log fires
\nAre prevalent
\nInvoking curses galore
\nThe Birches and Hazels and. hawthorns
\nThe ancient woods seen in the raw
\nSnow when it comes in the Winter
\nNot everywhere, will it fall
\nHigh on the summits it whitens
\nBut not in the hamlets at all<\/p>\n
It\u2019s to do with the winds
\nAnd direction
\nThe thunderous roar that we hear
\nThe thrashes the many dry stone
\nWalls steps and houses
\nThat litter this land
\nAnd freeze if you like
\nEvery bone<\/p>\n
Ominousness we can feel it
\nOver the valleys we see
\nThe arrogant use of vile chem trails
\nBlotting the sun seriously
\nGovernments centrally wrecking
\nSuch ignorance nationally
\nThis country of marvellous resilience
\nCan only survive and can be
\nSuccessful by moving the power base
\nEncouraging real people to
\nWork for the country
\nNot just for themselves
