\nA little baby elephant was he
\nGot caught in a poachers snare
\nAnd then Stabbed by some native
\nA really nasty wound so horribly
\nClearly in a lot of pain
\nWith infection setting in
\nWrithing, he in agony
\nAnd was getting thin
\nNo strength really to talk of
\nSuffering like hell
\nThe Sheldrick trust they found him
\nAnd airlifted him to be
\nHoping he would recover
\nIn a park in Nairobi<\/p>\n
Urgent care was offered
\nThe pain though was intense
\nThey nursed him and they loved him
\nIt really made great sense
\nHe fought and fought
\nBut sadly his injuries got worse
