\nShocks us to the core
\nDeclining to police the crime
\nAnd to utterly ignore

\nWith groomers on the prowl
\nShe was a 14 year old child
\nAnd the crimes reported foul<\/p>\n
And now we know the outcome
\nThe evidence is rife
\nThese vile men they were grooming her
\nFor sex
\nThe vilest strife
\nThat any child
\nshould go through
\nAnd the police they turn away
\nCan\u2018t
\nbe bothered and fail to care
\nWhat is left to say<\/p>\n
A parlous situation
\nSo vulnerable was she
\nBeset with utter evil
\nUndefended actually
\nHeavy odds to contend with
\nAnd Authority turns away
\nAnd leaves a child in jeopardy
\nThen the culprits have to pay<\/p>\n
