\nA camera was fitted
\nTo watch the show
\nAn Osprey family
\nHigh in the crown
\nOf a tree in a forest
\nIt\u2019s a long long way down<\/p>\n
All kinds of branches
\nHefty and thin
\nWeaved into a nest of sorts
\nGreat magic they spin
\nWith their big yellow eyes
\nObservant they be
\nTaking turns to sit briefly
\nOn their eggs
\n1 2 3<\/p>\n
Coming and going
\nAll of the time
\nChirping like crazy
\nThe way that they climb
\nAbout on the nest
\nWith the eggs lying there
\nBe sat on and tread on
\nWay up in the air<\/p>\n
Caution to the wind
\nWith a vast kind of howl
\nBackwards and forwards
\nThe two of them prowl
\nFetching fresh fish
\nFor their high tea
\nWith resolute courage
\nSo High in the tree<\/p>\n
With their colourful feathers
\nFlapping about
\nIt takes ingenuity
\nWithout a doubt
\nThe hen and the cock
\nAre pretty big birds
\nAffectionate playfulness
\nI\u2019m lost for words<\/p>\n
Out of One of the eggs
\nA fluffy grey soul
\nLooks like a dinosaur
\nIts risible role
\nOn the edge of the nest
\nIs to stay put and feed
\nOn the fish being brought
\nSatisfaction indeed<\/p>\n
It starts to rain
\nHeavy drops everywhere
\nPerched on the twigs
\nA family who share
\nThe comings and goings
\nThey do seem to be
\nSoaked to the skin
\nSo unfortunately<\/p>\n
The excitable pair
\nA fidgety craze
\nNervous and skittish
\nEach passionate phase
\nFeelings running high
\nEach fish that was caught
\nGot bigger and bigger
\nElation in short<\/p>\n
They have a large wingspan
\nAnd flap them a lot
\nBackwards and forwards
\nSat on the spot
\nLoving in some respects
\nAnd attentive pair
\nIt must have been cold up there
\nI am aware<\/p>\n
Sitting up in a hide
\nIn what is heavy rain
\nPreening and feeding
\nA chick half insane
\nRipping the slivers
\nAnd fed beak to beak
\nThe baby was growing
\nBigger each week<\/p>\n
A bountiful harvest
\nAnd generous size
\nBackwards and forwards
\nDown from the skies
\nFish after fish
\nBroth spurting high
\nThe baby soon ready
\nTo actually fly<\/p>\n
Fledged it\u2019s remarkable
\nWhat you can see
\nWith a camera perched
\nOn the top of a tree
\nIn a wind that\u2019s just howling
\nThey are jostled about
\nTheir single mindedness
\nWithout a doubt<\/p>\n
It Keeps them unnerved
\nIn an unwavering way
\nUndiscouraged in fact
\nTo each passing day
\nTheir penchant to succeed
\nWildness their strength
\nUnbidden free will
\nAn impossible length<\/p>\n
Of commitment affirming
\nThe family asserts
