\nAt Tyn-y-Groes
\nIt makes it\u2019s mark
\nSeemingly it knows
\nThe river whitens at that point
\nOver the boulders below
\nThis massively impressive tree
\nAll these years did grow
\nAn amazing circumference
\nStraight up to the sky
\nImagine the energy
\nAll those feet
\nSo high
\nSurrounded by a cluster
\nOf comrades one and all
\nIt really takes your breath away
\nIn its kingdom it doth rule<\/p>\n
A Douglas Fir
\nA giant stare
\nInternal circadian clock aware
\nAll these years and weathers we
\nExperience it\u2019s instancy
\nHow it communicates every day
\nIt\u2019s huge roots thrust
\nIn its regal way
\nIt\u2019s what it is it\u2019s how it grows
\nAcross the years
\nIt\u2019s what it knows
\nAn individual a trunk so round
\nRooted firmly in the ground<\/p>\n
On the path where I now stand
\nHaving walked a while
\nOn forest land
\nThe whimsical water down below
\nSomeone\u2019s dog entered its flow
\nFetching a branch and curiously
\nPuffing away in front of me
\nIn this forest of giants
