Chinese Foodstuffs maybe very suspect

\nthe Huang pu river pigs

\nand of course this was no dream<\/p>\n
It was a hellish nightmare
\nthe path of no return
\nbut it seems the pigs had
\nsome disease and rather than just burn,
\nZheJiang farmers calmly
\njust lobbed them out of sight
\ninto the river one by one
\nwhen they thought the time
\nwas right<\/p>\n
when they were discovered
\nmaggoty and rife
\nwith every horrid colour
\nand clear in so much strife
\nthe authorities put out
\na dictum the water that you drink
\nis absolutely perfect
\ndespite the piggy stink<\/p>\n
Remember back a few years
\nin milk what some did find
\nMelamine a substance added
\nand it was underlined, added by producers
\nto try to make more dosh
\nsome were sentenced to death I hear
\nbut why, it doesn’t wash
\nbabies died and surely its still around today
\nits in the fertilisers
\nsomehow they had to pay<\/p>\n
but where were the authorities
\nclearly no checks were made
\nits wasn’t backyard selling
\nin was big time stuff
\nthat played
\nout into the superstores
\nand caused a lot of grief
\nand when you imagine
\nthe size of China
\nit just beggars belief<\/p>\n
Pork is China’s favourite
\nand CAFO’s now exist
\neverywhere the factory farm,
\nis harder to resist
\na seething mass of bodies
\nall crammed into one space
\ncontrollable by robots
\nor those without a face
\nvast arrays of humans
\nall decked out to be
\non a vast assembly
\nand disassembly line
\na key
\nto making enough profit
\nthe commodities
\nalas
\nare pigs the tribes
\nare ailing
\nand suffering en masse<\/p>\n
in the corporate grip
\nthe farmers seemingly were sure
\nintense farming
\nnever ever done like this
\nbefore
\nthe animals paid heavily
\nfor their incarnation here
\nso many spare rib gluttons
\nout there, it became clear<\/p>\n
some eat so much pig
\neach week
\nthat producing so much mean’t
\nantibiotics were the thing
\nas if they were
\nHeaven sent<\/p>\n
and so the pigs got fatter
\nand quickly their dead weight
\ngave profit to the farmers
\nand everyone felt great
\nbut antibiotics don’t stop there
\nthey entered our food chain
\na great feat of re-cycling
\nin reality, insane<\/p>\n
but the rush for making profits
\nsilenced all that fear
\nand of course what we are seeing
\nlately fatties do appear
\nand the antibiotics are resident
\nand their immunity
\nis shot away completely
\nthey are ruined actually<\/p>\n
when they enter our domain
\nit serious for we
\ncannot fight infections
\nthe risk to humanity
\nits all gone down the plug hole
\nand talking about drains
\nthey have been using sewer oil
\nto cook with and more pains
\nits all to do with money
\nso evil, when its tight
\nEating foods from China
\nis like some awful blight<\/p>\n
but as we see in America
\nit is no better there
\nthe corporates are so huge
\nmislabelling they share
\nthe government is powerless
\nMonsanto tells them they
\nwill understand that labelling
\nhas to be this way<\/p>\n
GM now is resident in foods
\nand no one knows
\nmillions of dollars
\nwere paid in
\nto fight the labelling prose
\nand recently Monsanto
\nwon the battle royal
\nand we all are no more the wiser
\nGM or motor oil<\/p>\n
Goods now made in China
\nor the great old USA
\npersonally I’m not eating
\nit
\nnot now from today<\/p>\n
