A veterinarian out in the forest goes
\ntrying to look for animals that have been trapped
\nfor she knows
\ntheIr agony, their terror
\nwhich occurs when a soul
\nwanders into these contraptions
\nlaid there by some troll<\/p>\n
people who go to the forest
\nand do this kind of thing
\nhave really no compassion
\nwooden hearts,that bring
\nabject pain and suffering
\nto a wild child who will be
\nonce trapped just bound to suffer
\nso unnecessarily<\/p>\n
if she finds them and can save them
\ncan release them then she does
\nif they are badly injured
\nshe can comfort, just that buzz
\nof energy around them that pity
\nand that aid
\nhelps a soul to pass on
\nas it begins to fade<\/p>\n
I come back to the trappers
\ncontorted creeps that crawl
\nabout disguising dangerously
\nthese jagged jaws that fall
\ndown on limbs and bodies
\ncreating trauma and
\nmashing up the muscle
\nand exposing it and all<\/p>\n
to find a women brave enough
\nto take this on and try
\nto help our little furry friends
\nto again see the sky
\nto not become a victim
\nmurdered on the spot
\nafter suffering untold pain
\nand then just being shot<\/p>\n
I take my hat off to this women
\nshe is mighty brave
\ngoing out on icy days
\nthese little souls to save
\nyou see there are all sorts
\nof people some who really care
\nand some who lay these evil jaws
\naround
