\nNow Cuadrilla sets its sights abroad
\nWants to ear mark sites in Kent and in Sussex
\nand Surrey too so clearly some reward<\/p>\n
Is lots and lots of shale gas for the taking
\nAll they have to do, drill and send
\nChemicals and proppants down into the earth
\nAnd whatever time it takes they are going to spend<\/p>\n
Doing this despite the threat of earthquakes
\nOf pollution and whatever else is said
\nthere’s a move a foot for the publics support
\nGeologists, Professors all have led<\/p>\n
An orchestra of specialists advising
\nThat fracking is a really good idea
\nTelling us there’s methane in the water
\nit really isn’t what I want to hear<\/p>\n
t seems to me that whatever the objectors say
\nIt already has been decided what they’ll do
\nThe Company is meeting some protestors at Balcombe
\nbut I guess whatever view<\/p>\n
Comes out of that tonight
\nwill make no difference
\nThe 2 sides wont accept each others plan
\nBut that Fracking will continue
\nthat shale gas will be extracted
\nAnd objections will be
\njust flushed down the pan.<\/p>\n
