pinched and squashed<\/p>\n
all this is true<\/p>\n

higher welfare<\/p>\n
makes us feel they were kind to chickens<\/p>\n
their life through<\/p>\n

somehow appealing<\/p>\n
for us to buy<\/p>\n
a poor dead bird<\/p>\n
who of course did die<\/p>\n
tortured and battered<\/p>\n
uncared for she<\/p>\n
