How easy it would be
\nto jump the gun
\nyes, sometimes, when we do hear
\nlike today that some guy
\njust shot a horse
\nand the reasons he gave
\nwere quite clear<\/p>\n
he wanted to put the backs up
\nof the animal rights people
\nout there, his words
\nthis was his judgement
\nthis was the action he took
\nhe away with the birds<\/p>\n
clearly unstable
\nhe needs some counselling
\nsomeone needs now to control
\nkilling an innocent horse in cold blood
\nis not his or anyone’s role<\/p>\n
as we now slide down the slippery slope
\nof evil we must stand our ground
\nwe know what’s right
\nif there’s a blight
\nno matter, our judgement is sound<\/p>\n
we are the warriors
\nand what we do is save
\nhelp, and try to create
\na world fit for everyone
\nsafe free of fear
\nwhere its wrong to kill anyone, mate<\/p>\n
yes we are weary
\nyes we get angry
\nbut calmness wins through in the end
\nwhat this man did to an innocent horse
\nwas take away, a good friend
\nthe horse the unfortunate victim
\nof what was an unstable mind
\nbut he helps the cause
\nnow we will pause
\nand carry on working
\nto find<\/p>\n
a reason why animal earthlings
\nare singled out and given hell
\nby frustrated workers whose arrogance
\nsurfaces, and gets ramped up, I hear tell
\nits a weakness in them and its awful
\nthat animals suffer such fates
\nbut we in the movement have to stay calm
