\nthis great red soul
\nthat somehow want to so control
\na free range thinker
\nof the tree tops
\nwho only had herself to please<\/p>\n
call yourselves a sentient breed
\ncoming from a higher seed
\ndon’t fool yourselves
\nyour prisoner here
\nis more evolved than you
\nits clear<\/p>\n
your lack of understanding
\nof the ways of forest life
\ndisproves your sentient
\nquality
\nand cuts you as a knife
\nwould cut you
\nfor this orangutan
\nneeds freeing
\nfrom the shackles of mankind
\nand allowed to reach the canopy
\nfor unlike you
\nshe’s not blind<\/p>\n
her patience is her virtue
\nand virtue is for her
\na spirit that will drive her
\nperhaps you may concur
\nthat what you’ve done
\nlacks common sense
\nthere no good reason here
\nmy suggestion to you
