I do think we’ve come far enough
\nAlong the road, and we
\nShould ban foie gras, ban the gavarge
\nForce Feeding, tragically
\nIs not a natural way to treat
\nDucks or Geese, and so
\nIt just might have been many years
\nBut now of course we know<\/p>\n
Its inhumane to do this
\nTheir sufferings are immense
\nTruly so called gastronomes
\nseem to lack some sense
\nThe sense of looking after
\nA sentient being who
\nneed not be tortured, its not right
\nits not the thing to do<\/p>\n
Considering it a luxury
\nWith Cognac or with prunes
\nQuince served up with rustic crusts
\nand wasabi drizzle tunes<\/p>\n
I do think we’ve come far enough
