\nTiger cubs and Bears
\npangolins
\nall sorts of things
\nI’m sure the world
\nat large is unaware<\/p>\n
of the trade which is enormous
\nmainly China, but other asian
\ncountries seemingly
\nTaiwan’s another place
\nwhere things are happening
\nwhere wild souls may vanish
\nrapidly
\nfor habitats and victims
\nits such a disgrace
\nplucked out of their homes
\nand shipped away
\nin suitcases drugged animals
\narrive and almost anywhere
\nsmuggled out for
\nChina
\nmany say<\/p>\n
sold in the markets
\nwhere TCM and, the pet trade
\nthe various people share
\nand if the smugglers
\ndo get caught
\nand the animals are well
\nthey will not go back to the wild
\nwhich isn’t fair
\ninstead they will have to spend a spell
\nin Government Wild Life centres
\nsome for very many years alas
\nbroken families,and the cost
\nit isn’t without tears
\nthis ugly trade
\nis very very crass
\nLaw enforcement might be worth
\nincreasing
\nbeyond what they already
\nhave in place
\nand hefty fines for traffickers
\napart from prison sentences
\nwhich just might take
\nthe wide smile of their face<\/p>\n
and money taken from them
\ncould be given towards
\nthe up keep of the wild life who
\nin the case of Tigers and of Nbears
\nmaybe for years
\nand very soon a lot can be got through
\nso big fines might prohibit
\nthese gang masters
\nwho no doubt get their charges
\noff the street
\nand a hefty fine
\nand a spell inside a prison
\nmight up the anti
\nand increase the heat<\/p>\n
One has to remonstrate
\nwith those procurers from the wild
\nthis is a sinful nasty thing to do
\nits destruction of a wild one
\nfor a few measly dollars
\nit means a lot to them
\nnot to construe
\nthat this would be the end
\nof all the problems
\nbut I contend it would
\ngo somewhere, and
\nthose who do these rotten
\nrisky random kinds of jobs
\nmight after
\na heavy sentence understand<\/p>\n
Clearly the Thai Government
\nis wary
\nthey have increased surveillance
\nthat’s for sure
\nthey are on the case
\nbut they need to ramp it up a bit
\nand in the markets there must now be more
\nraids they must go out behind
\nthose old facade’s
\nraid the places
\nand always hefty fines
\nand prison every time
\nfor the offenders
\nmore liaison all along the lines
\nwhere the aircraft have been loaded
\nthat is possible
\nthe x rays should pick up
\nthis kind of thing
\nits people being bribed
\nto turn a blind eye to it all
