It\u2019s been a blue sky Wednesday<\/p>\n
the pigment sucking sun<\/p>\n
Turning \u00a0brown to orange<\/p>\n
like damask silk it\u2019s spun<\/p>\n
i am sitting close to male dead Beech<\/p>\n
not a single leaf<\/p>\n
Lightening struck it years ago<\/p>\n
bringing so much grief<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
there are a number of male flowers<\/p>\n
bursting out but they<\/p>\n
are very late \u00a0and very few<\/p>\n
in the ending of this day<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its dormant the sky still full of light<\/p>\n
silhouettes for trees<\/p>\n
hardly movement anywhere<\/p>\n
The odd car and my knees<\/p>\n
i did a spot of walking<\/p>\n
with and without my sticks<\/p>\n
as the light is fading into dark<\/p>\n
Eyes playing tricks<\/p>\n
out of the utter darkness<\/p>\n
eyes are seen to stare<\/p>\n
from ground level<\/p>\n
and higher that\u2019s when we are aware<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the wild souls are nocturnal<\/p>\n
its the time where they arise<\/p>\n
purposeful and choosing a supper<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the \u00a0wise<\/p>\n
Wonderful<\/p>\n
believers<\/p>\n
the foxes the badgers the Deer<\/p>\n
nosing around the lay-by<\/p>\n
looking for food it\u2019s clear<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
humans drop all sorts of junk<\/p>\n
theres not a lot to see, not yet<\/p>\n
perhaps a squirrel<\/p>\n
is looking straight at me<\/p>\n
my rear view picks up headlights<\/p>\n
but I must concentrate<\/p>\n
on peaceful coexistence<\/p>\n
and Beltane.<\/p>\n
