land of my birth<\/p>\n
my paradise<\/p>\n
I be a brown faced Spider Monkey<\/p>\n
critically endangered now<\/p>\n
critical hectares of forest<\/p>\n
being destroyed \u00a0and this is how<\/p>\n

the residents, the animals<\/p>\n
the \u00a0indigenous peoples<\/p>\n
And growers who<\/p>\n
work the Cacao night and day<\/p>\n
mosquitoes wise<\/p>\n
it\u2019s very true<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its so much harder to make ends meet<\/p>\n
to find the food \u00a0to then compete<\/p>\n
with logging ruffians<\/p>\n
night and day<\/p>\n
who steal our precious foods away<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its not just us<\/p>\n
all of us here<\/p>\n
the insect life emboldened fear<\/p>\n
the other trees and animals too<\/p>\n
we need the spirit of Nature<\/p>\n
You<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
people of the western World<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t \u00a0chop the trees down<\/p>\n
for we are hurled<\/p>\n
into oblivion, into pain<\/p>\n
our forest homes<\/p>\n
destroyed \u00a0again<\/p>\n

that cacao where<\/p>\n
growing is hard<\/p>\n
when people care<\/p>\n
it\u2019s possible but tragically<\/p>\n

isolated communities<\/p>\n
real native people<\/p>\n
who really see<\/p>\n
the jungle for its wondrous wealth<\/p>\n
not the \u00a0evil souls of stealth<\/p>\n
who steal our medicines<\/p>\n
and then pollute<\/p>\n
who take our food<\/p>\n
and always root<\/p>\n
up the crops \u00a0in which we depend<\/p>\n
