On a public highway
\na baby sloth \u00a0was trying
\ncars passing every which way<\/p>\n
to cross \u00a0there was no denying<\/p>\n
its resolute involvement<\/p>\n
a man tried seemingly<\/p>\n
To rescue the poor animal<\/p>\n
but was hopeless actually<\/p>\n
another came \u00a0and another<\/p>\n
they carried the baby to<\/p>\n
the mother \u00a0half way up a tree<\/p>\n
and presented \u00a0her<\/p>\n
to do<\/p>\n
this intimate act of kindness<\/p>\n
the mother\u2019s face<\/p>\n
we saw<\/p>\n
the love \u00a0was hugely wonderful<\/p>\n
clearly it was raw<\/p>\n
wildness \u00a0true emotion<\/p>\n
which struck me to the core<\/p>\n
