Mossy green banks beckon
\nWhite water one can see
\nA board up says no swimming
\nWho\u2019d swim I thought.
\nNot me
\nThe water course is narrow
\nThe energy you feel
\nDashing like a torrent
\nIt\u2019s clearly very real<\/p>\n
And up ahead you see it
\nA presence in one\u2019s soul
\nPlunging down from quite a height
\nIt was a massive roll
\nA pendulous suspension
\nIt, would not make sense
\nSwimming in this danger zone
\nOf thundering water there
\nSlip and fall into this wall
\nOf water such despair<\/p>\n
Further up another falls
\nAcross the railway track
\nCloser to the higher echelons
\nIncreasing the attack
\nRushing down from high above
\nFilling up the stream
\nIt really is a violence
\nOut of somebody\u2019s dream<\/p>\n
A creaming with rough edges
\nAny fish who dares
\nTo get immersed in all of this
\nI mean it really scares
\nMe a grown up human
\nIf I slipped and fell
\nIf I ever got out unscathed
