The Banks those massive powerful giants
\nWallowing through the world today
\nMiserly counting other people\u2019s money
\nWhen they say
\nPolitically they are backing
\nGenocide and war
\nBoycotts. Sometimes work I hear

The tragedy of violence
\nOf innocence laid bare
\nInvesting in the companies
\nThey really do not care
\nOther people\u2019s families
\nWho may live far away
\nWho may love their children
\nBut see them blown away
\nSee their buildings demolished
\nHear their mothers cries
\nEvery which way anyone looks
\nSome of them realise<\/p>\n
Investing in the enemy
\nIs not a bright idea
\nProphets philosophical
\nOccasionally hold fear
\nThe balance sheet when failing
\nCan sometimes be turned around
\nBy thinking sympathetically
\nWith one\u2019s feet upon the ground<\/p>\n
Loads of shares were held it seems
\nIn companies and we
\nNow see Barclays changing tack
\nWith some security
\nOf thought and mind
\nThe massive vaults, considered obviously
\nAnd peace and quiet absolves them

Personally I never did understand

\nWhat was really obvious, and sacred for me
