I have reached a day
\nWhere Christmas Day
\nIs now looked down upon
\nSo many migrants coming here
\nThe Christian stuffs all gone<\/p>\n
Thousands invading our sandy shores
\nEvery single year
\nA lot of them cannot converse
\nAnd with them there\u2019s
\nThe fear
\nLiving in big hotels
\nBikes to ride aroundThree meals a day
\nAnd fifty quid to spend
\nThat\u2019s where they are bound<\/p>\n
A pensioner now 81
\nHandouts not a lot
\nAll these years I Have worked hard
\nAnd paid my taxes
\nI feel scarred
\nBy many of these newcomers
\nWith their mobile phones
\nAnd the Private dentistry
\nAnd my aching bones<\/p>\n
Are aching really hellishly
\nMy Christmas meal today
\nPeanut butter on sour dough bread
\nAnd some tofu
\nIt\u2019s the way
\nSome tonic water
\nTake my pills
\nThat\u2019s the best for me
\nOne Christmas card
\nFor the old bard
\nNo one cares you see.<\/p>\n
On the other hand I am invited to a Boxing Day
\nMeal with some friends so will be happy tomorrow.
