\nThe mountains formed
\nAnd seemingly
\nRose up to be counted
\nThe Welsh expectantly
\nAny one who saw
\nThese wondrous rocky edifices
\nWould in fact see what we see<\/p>\n

Look across the valleys
\nHow the summits do reach high
\nOften into a cloudscape
\nThe Neolithic eye, and our eye
\nWould see much the same
\nPerfection if you feel
\nThe radiance and picturesqueness
\nEssentially was real<\/p>\n

What was a reassurance
\nAs expectations grew
\nThese monstrous hills
\nacross the way
\nWhere streams and sunlight
\nSpills
\nTrees and flora
\nShared the goodness
\nAs they did, so do we
\nFelt the glorious power
\nOf being actually free<\/p>\n

To discover the great wonderment
\nTo be drawn by it and
\nKnow
\nAlthough perhaps beyond our reach
\nA journey that would grow
\nTo a new elevation
\nInto the clouds perchance
\nTo an eternal kingdom
\nWhere the Fay and forests
\nDance
\nA paradise bold mythical
\nElysian Fields that might
\nWild souls flying higher
\nReaching to a greater height<\/p>\n

The mountains that still make us gasp
\nWhere rainbows decorate
\nA grateful liberation
\nEndlessly we wait
\nFlexing our muscles
\nAnd climbing
\nWading through icy streams
\nEnjoying the marvellous freedom
\nBuilding on our dreams<\/p>\n

Spread across the countryside
\nMountains ranges still
\nExcite our inner senses
\nSuch privilege doth spill
\nBuilding our agility
\nSearching for that peace
\nThe Neolithic people
\nAnd now us a release<\/p>\n

From the perturbing energies
\nEach would have faced
\nAnd we
\nAre still drawn to the massiveness
\nThe confounded harmony
\nDifferent kinds of vegetable life
\nAnd the animals life up there
\nSources of beauty and of danger
\nThe alarm and the despair.<\/p>\n

The mountains in the distance
\nRising from the the
\nEarth
\nGigantic rock formations
\nReally hold much worth
\nWhat we see ancestors saw
\nProbably The very same
\nTheir thoughts and ours
\nPerhaps they gazed
\nAnd quietly raised
\nTheir senses across the hours<\/p>\n

Attracting many travellers
\nClimbers too, maybe
\nThe Cambrians the Black Mountains
\nThe Brecon Beacons we
\nFeel the same surge actually
\nThe excitement
\nIn our core
\nTo now be living closer to them
\nAnd yes to adore<\/p>\n

Observing all the seasons
\nThe importance of them all
\nThe awareness of the sabbat\u2019s
\nThe customary recall
\nThe customs and traditions
\nThe spontaneity
\nThe exercise of will
