\nOn the aprons we note
\nThere\u2019s sheep bold and hardy
\nWoolly of coat
\nTheir legs clearly able
\nTo gradients go
\nSteeped in tradition
\nAnd feeling a glow
\nA contentment to wander
\nThe bogs and the dry
\nTo head up the mountains
\nReaching their sky
\nOpportunity beckons
\nWild grass real course
\nProviding them strength
\nBy a true tour de force <\/p>\n
Nothing appears hard
\nThey just go everywhere
\nFenced, open road through Snowdonia
\nPrayer
\nAnd thought for the danger
\nOf cars on the road
\nThey just wander digesting
\nCreating a code, of wariness really
\nWherever they be
\nSeemingly docile but on point actually<\/p>\n
You see them up high
\nAnd down in the low
\nOut on the road
\nWhere it\u2019s dangerous to go
\nLoners, together all weathers
\nThey seem
\nTo be part of the fabric
\nA steady white stream
\nPicked out ever higher
\nTheir legs seemingly
\nCarry them onward
\nAnd done zestfully<\/p>\n
Angry cold winds
\nDo not deter
\nThe lashing rain
\nWhen it does occur
\nIt doesn\u2019t phase them
\nThey plough on anyway
\nHardy and strong
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
Truly organic and able to be
\nBreathing the air
\nWonderfully free
\nIn Wales in the mountains
\nThey are just always there
\nPlotting their course
\nAnd always they dare<\/p>\n
Wonderfully adaptive
\nGenuinely so
\nWith a confident sir
\nNo where they won\u2019t go
\nSkirting the roads
\nAt the edges they ply
\nThe energy needed
\nTo reach for the sky
\nTo get lost in the midst
\nRelatable time
\nAnd be found one assumes
