Little fur toys
\nBelonged once to me
\nI am a rabbit
\nA sweet heart
\nYou see
\nI lived in the ground
\nIn a hollow and I
\nWas plant based
\nMy ceiling
\nWas the blue sky<\/p>\n
It was cold in the Winter
\nAnd godly care
\nSupplied me with a warm coat
\nSoft everywhere
\nIt kept me sane
\nWhen Jack Frost was about
\nBut those human beings
\nLeft me is such doubt<\/p>\n
Wildness is special
\nThose of us who
\nLive where our ancestors lived
\nAnd we do
\nFollowing the history
\nLiving abroad
\nIn tidy burrows

But humans are after us
\nSome come to shoot
\nOthers brings dogs
\nSome leave snares
\nAnd the root
\nOf our problem
\nIs commerce and ignorance too
\nThey kill us for our fur
