In Dorset we hear

\nA churchman spits fire
\nRides out hunting our friends
\nThe torturing evils of haranguing wild souls
\nFrom his pulpit of sacredness
\nExerting controls
\nRiding alongside the torturing classes
\nBloodied and ugly somehow he passes
\nFor heavenly scriptures
\nFor sacredness he
\nEnjoys the ravages
\nHis complacency<\/p>\n
How can the church know this pastime of hunting
\nCruelty heralded subsequently
\nA man of the cloth goes riding with huntsman
\nShares in the suffering
\nImagining he
\nNeeds the blood lust and fearfulness
\nAll the law breaking
\nHunting with dogs
\nA blood sport of Ill
\nThe saboteurs all have witnessed the darkness
\nWildness chased and torn
\nAs it\u2019s wild blood doth spill<\/p>\n
In the forests and woods
\nOn the plains green and peaceful
\nMany a wild soul frequents the true earth
\nFamilies of foxes and hares live wild lives such stresses
\nFeeding their families witnessing birth
\nThe galloping steeds and the cries of the chasers
\nHot breath in cold air
\nThe hunters are heard
\nAlong with a churchman lustful and wanting
\nA blood spattered end to what does sound absurd<\/p>\n
There are laws in this country
\nWe the believers
\nWild souls live quietly
\nThey roam silently
\nFamilies who hunt in the night
\nSilent warriors
\nEyes glowing hearts beating
\nMake their own light
\nClad in the hunting gear
\nWhips to the ready and
\nHearts racing whilst chasing
\nWhat they see as foe
\nHow can this happen
\nThe Church of England
\nTurns it\u2019s blind eyes
