We are ignorant buggers
\nUs humans
\nImagining chicken don\u2019t think
\nThey eat food that helps them
\nThey peck in the wild
\npecking in prison
\nAll after a child<\/p>\n
They lay eggs like crazy
\nIt\u2019s takes lots of strain
\nIt\u2019s their way of bringing
\nMore family again
\nExtending the life force
\nFighting the I\u2019ll
\nWanting some babies
\nDespite the chill<\/p>\n
And what do we do
\nWe collect all their eggs
\nCart them away
\nReally it begs
\nThe oracle actually
\nFor what we do
\nIs sell them
\nWe eat them
\nYou know that is true<\/p>\n
More and more dying
\nEvery day
\nWe eat like the clappers
\nThe eggs that they lay
\nOmelettes and hard boiled and poached
\nEvery style
\nPopped into our cakes
\nAnd chewed for a while<\/p>\n
Eggs are their future

\nWe crack them and scoff them
