Five pigeons on a council roof

\nDanced around observing
\nThe bright lights so to say
\nThe afternoon was sunny
\nWith a cold snap in the air
\nIn front of a golden tree
\nIt\u2019s leaves it waved about to share<\/p>\n
Autumn sun peered extraordinarily
\nOut of a pale blue sky
\nMustard saffron various yellows
\nVividly, no lie
\nA brown rat came a sniffing
\nWith its long long tail
\nLooking for it\u2019s lunch maybe
\nI think it was a male
\nInquisitive and surly
\nIt got onto the roof frightened off the pigeons
\nThey were all aloof
\nTo ratter, moving swiftly
\nWaiting here was I
\nMy friend was at the surgery
