Imagine the pain
\nHaving your nose
\nseared off with a rusty old
\nblade burning hot
\nAnd you are a baby
\nJust out of your shell
\nThis agony its hurts
\nOh! its hurts such a lot
\nYou then find yourself
\nThrown down hard on the floor
\nYour nose bleeding and pain
\nlike never before
\nDoes anyone rescue you
\nno bloody chance
\nYou were born in a factory farm

\nA chick fluffy chick
\nEvery Easter when we
\nSee the chicks advertised
\nBy perhaps Cadbury
\n“Oh! look” we all say
\nwhat a cute little soul
\nAnd rush out and buy Cadbury’s eggs,
\nthe real toll
\nIs daily the number of chicks
\nWho face death
\nWith their little beaks seared
\nthey,left fighting for breath
\nPain is not just something
\nThat humans feel
\nThe chicks my God their pain
\nis equally real
\nInflicted by man’s great machine
\nreason so
\nMore chickens are packed into spaces
\nthe flow
\nIs kept up, despite growth
\nwithout beaks no way
\nCan they peck at each other
\nThats why they say
\nNo Anadin or a soft bed
\nshock and awe
\nAnd a kick up ther arse
\nFrom the human whose war
\nAppears to be with his cute charges
\nand they
\ncan expect more rendition
\ntill their dying day
\nRemember this all of you
\nat KFC
\nor McDonalds or somewhere’s
\nelse
\nJust try to be
\nIn the same place as those birds
\nsufferring so
\nThe chick in the advert
\nwho had no time to grow
\nBillions of chickens are treated
\nthis way
\nIts about time the carnivores
\nthought more
\nThe day
\nHas to come when all animals
\nhave certain rights
\nTo live without torture
\nCarried out by sick shites
