There is something odd
\nI feel today
\nfor the psyche somehow
\nseems
\nto miss
\nthe correlation between
\nthe facts
\nit dreams
\nup some other strategy
\nand believes what’s clearly wrong
\nis right well for that moment
\nperhaps not all along<\/p>\n
it kind of lets those people
\nwho
\nwant to wear new fur
\noff
\nthey don’t need reminding
\nor hear people scoff
\nabout their need
\nto wear a fur
\nits cold and furs
\nare warm
\nwhere they come from
\ndon’t tell us
\nwe’re like leaves
\nin a storm<\/p>\n
they close their eyes
\nto reality
\nand the cruelty
\nthat exists
\nfor them the world
\nof fashion
\nof designers
\nare like mists
\nof time
\nthat roll in daily
\nand have no bearing on how
\nthey make their lovely choices
\nwhether, skins from somecow
\nrabbits, sheep, fox or bears
\nhappen to be used
\nwhether the donor
\nwas happy with its life
\nor was abused<\/p>\n
at that time and moment
\nall they want to see
\nis a beautiful coat
\nor whatever
\nand it belongs to me<\/p>\n
and the fact that
\nit belonged to
\nsomething resembling a life
\ndoesn’t come into their thinking
\nthat, it was killed with a knife
\nhung up on some rusty hook
\nand its skin was torn away
\nthey do not care a monkeys
\nit happened far away<\/p>\n
now look at this lovely coat
\ndesigned by some creep who
\nwas as ignorant as the wearer
\nbut earned blood money too
\nwho closed their mind to reality
\nas the fur industry does
\nthe murder and the mayhem
\nits all a great big fuzz<\/p>\n
and now so many do it
\nstarlets and the like
\ntheir living in some vacuum
\nand despite how other psych
\nthem out about their choices
\nthey blatantly expose
\nthe furs before the cameras
\nand so the feeling grows<\/p>\n
why can’t they see
\na fur coats means
\ndead animals
\nand if they see this
\nhow can they still feel
\njustified to sacrifice the innocent
\nmany of them
\nand not hear the squeal
\nof agony as people
\ncommit murder
\ntorture them
\ndeprive them of
\na life
\nput an electric poker
\nup their backsides
\nor gas them
\ngiving off such evil strife<\/p>\n
models on the cat walk
\nstrut their booty
\nclad in bloody furs
\nand all aglow
\ndesigners cutting up
\ntheir myriad patterns
\nthey of course
\nwell they of course do know<\/p>\n
but for them it just one thing
\nwhich is, money
\nand animals no one hears them squeal
\nand even if they did
\nso what they tell themselves
\nthis is 2013 so get real!<\/p>\n
and this is what I am saying
\nwe are getting real
\nwe are raising our potential
\nand we see
\nwe hear the squeals of agony
\nwe are sentient’s
\nand now we wish to
\nbe seen as such, we be<\/p>\n
compassionate and kind
\nto one another
\nwe do not seek to torture
\nor to hurt
\nwe do not want to see
\na raccoon dog under the boot
\nof a lout on face book
\nthat’s just far too curt<\/p>\n
we do not want to be part
\nof the massacre of baby seals
\nin Canada for we know
\nwe are highly evolved being’s
\nand we have feelings
\nand fur is bloody murder
