Pigs are not the dirty brutes
\nThat farming would have us believe
\nThat are loving mothers
\nWith valuable families
\nBorn wanting to achieve
\nThe best for their offspring
\nWild pigs known as BOARS
\nIf living in a forest somewhere
\nKnow of course, because<\/p>\n
They are mothers
\nThey are families
\nPre programmed yes to care
\nTo love their offspring
\nAnd Look after them
\nAll mothers are aware
\nBut lock them up in farrowing crates
\nWhen pregnant
\nImagine that
\nBehind bars
\nJust No where to turn
\nFrustration
\nWell it stars<\/p>\n
Big time in a pigs life
\nBored out of their head
\nChewing at the bars
\nAlas
\nSuffering, that said
\nAnd when they give birth
\nTheir babies are often crushed, for they
\nHave no space to miss them
\nThey are locked there
\nNight and day<\/p>\n
A factory farm is a dirty place
\nThe infants where infants teeth are clipped
\nTheir testicles torn off by man
\nYes they are just ripped
\nNo pain killers just torn off
\nSay anything and you
\nWill get a bloody answer
\nFor that is what they do<\/p>\n
Their farming
\nPigs get no real care
\nThe stench of it is high
\nIt\u2019s hell on earth for the mothers
\nWho openly sit and cry<\/p>\n
As for human beings
\nWho buy into this trade
\nWho want their crispy bacon
\nAnd their spare ribs
\nYes first grade
\nSausages and belly pork
\nAnd crackling as well
\nThese poor pigs go through
\nEvery Ill
\nYes We make their poor lives Hell.<\/p>\n
Pigs are loving mothers
\nNo sweat glands so they must
\nNot get overheated
\nWhich is why living in dust
\nAnd dirt and shit and ugliness
\nNo place to build a nest
\nFarming doesn\u2019t account for god
\nAnd just fails every test<\/p>\n
They live in their own excrement
\nA no no for a pig
\nI have seen pigs in the wild
\nThey love to grub and dig
\nCarefree in a natural wood
\nRoots and plants they eat
\nThey do feel for their offspring
\nAnd really we just cheat<\/p>\n
All their natural instincts
\nConfined is not their scene
\nImagine how dirt feels for them
\nYes it feels obscene
\nWatching their babies thrown about
\nBy ugly farming scum
\nLabouring the point alas
\nThat all farmed pigs are dumb<\/p>\n
It\u2019s how they are, they love it
\nTortured everydayThe mothers
\nCannot move without the pain
\nAnd in every way
\nPiglets get a beating
\nThrown against the wall
\n\u201cThumped\u201d they call it
\nViolence just watch them when they fall<\/p>\n
Heaving legs still moving
\nBreath is leaving fastThese are little babies
\nAll flags fly at half mast
\nSo many little hearts stop beating
\nSo many eyes get filled with tears
\nThis is what it\u2019s like to farm the pigs
