This picture tells a story
\nof what is wilful neglect
\nhurt is right across their faces
\nthough this has gone unchecked
\nviolated daily
\ntreated with disregard
\nclearly such transgression
\nhas seemingly been hard<\/p>\n
casting such enormous
\nshadows on two souls
\nas we see,
\nfeeling the deepest sorrow
\nthat probably could be
\nand these are two wild
\nmonkeys
\nchained there to the floor
\ntheir movements so restricted
\nwhy we ask, what for?<\/p>\n
abuse and its so, abusive to
\na mother and her child
\nthe baby is beside itself
\nthe mother clearly
\nreconciled
\nto spending what life’s left, here
\nhoping to make some loot
\nwaiting for the tourist bus
