A whale of a time
\nIn a prison
\nLocked up and left to ones thoughts
\nAn elderly man
\nWith many a fan
\nWho may soon appear in the courts<\/p>\n
Denmark is trying our patience
\nWhales do apparently bleed
\nTheir hearts are as powerful
\nAs any around
\nTheir presence is needed
\nI try to expound <\/p>\n
All logical questioning
\nAnd to require
\nA cooling draught
\nTo what is a fire
\nBurning in Japan
\nThat wants to create
\nA new way of life
\nFor our Captain
\nA date<\/p>\n
A place in a cell
\nDark and cold
\nAn old man
\nWith fire in his belly
\nA honourable ban<\/p>\n
His soul rides the waves
\nWith the orca\u2019s who ply
\nThe whales rule the oceans
\nBut too many die
\nExplosive harpoons
\nSick detonation
\nDeep avid screams
\nFrom the great beasts in motion<\/p>\n
Japan sends its industry
\nInto the ocean
\nSearching the dark depths
\nIt is their notion
\nWhales need to die
\nGreat beasts they be
\nWith the keenest of eye<\/p>\n
Our captain sailed forth
\nProtection was his
\nWish and his spirit
\nYes Mostly is
\nTo protect and to save
\nThese denizen hordes
\nFrom the Japanese fishermen
\nAnd their sharp swords<\/p>\n
Industrial factories
\nOut in the sea
\nMurdering wild life
\nAs a constancy<\/p>\n
We must save the whales
\nGreat beasts of below
\nThey hold many benefits
\nAt night they glow
\nWith a spirited love
\nFor our planetary worth
\nGiving back soul
\nEach sacred birth
\nGiants they be
\nGenius mammals
\nFrom deep in the sea <\/p>\n
We must fight for our Captain
\nWho fights for the whale
\nWho sees eye to eye
\nWhose spirited trail
\nIs to safeguard wild creatures
\nWherever they be
\nAnd to appeal to good hearts
