I think because so many
\nlack judgement
\nthat is sound
\nthey may be short of finance
\nfor basically around
\nthem they are
\nmaterialistic
\nand have debts
\nno doubt which they
\nare forced to try to reduce
\nin a clearly refined way<\/p>\n
money borrowed of course
\nmeans your beholden
\nto the one
\nwhose lent you it
\nand because the interest
\nit can stun
\nand overwhelm so many
\nmorally they’d try
\nto do the right thing always
\nwith a twinkle in their eye<\/p>\n
but its reasonable their thinking
\nto well now think of me
\nget my debts paid off first
\nthen live more ethically
\nin fact it never happens
\nbecause debts rise
\nand rarely fall
\nagenda’s overpower us
\nour back pressed to the wall
\nmore live off their credit
\nunethical may be
\nbut it provides some
\nindependence in their minds
\nfor free
\nits costing them the earth
\nin fact, but illogically they feel
\nempowered by it and welcome
\nthe freedom which isn’t real<\/p>\n
true ethics costs a lot of time
\npatience
\nand great care
\nand what parameters
\ndoes one use
\nand do all others share
\nthe commitment that your making
\nits constant battle to
\nkeep up with the others
\nwith the burning desire you
\nbe ethical and moral<\/p>\n
be what some would admire
\nfor most its talk up ethics
\nfor where there’s smoke there’s fire
\nand its burns in many hearts I know
\nbut their minds can’t possibly
\ngive up the Beer, the football
