Chance at a crossing

\nWith an owl busy hooting
\nOn the sky wires, a call
\nOf a magpie an odd crow
\nIn ebony all
\nHis mates feeding rapidly
\nBefore they return
\nTo a roost for that boost
\nThat so many yearn<\/p>\n
It\u2019s raining a bit
\nThere\u2019s some pink in the sky
\nThe odd wispy clouds
\nThe poets eye
\nClearer by far
\nOver yonder to where
