From the world of wildness
\nComes a flower
\nKnown as the Foxglove
\nIt has the power
\nTo kill to revive
\nThe heart of hearts
\nFrom the depths of folklore
\nIt imparts<\/p>\n

A poison that is so extreme
\nA gift of the Faeries
\nIt would seem
\nThat the great red fox
\nWhose footprints were
\nInside the flower
\nFor if it did occur
\nIt allowed the fox
\nThe ability
\nto walk in the forest more stealthily<\/p>\n

able it\u2019s seems apparently
\nTo adopt a true facility
\nOne of invisibility
\nAble to catch the chickens
\nWho
\nIt captured
\nWhich we know is true<\/p>\n

Pushing our fingers into the flower
\nIf we are able then a wish to wow
\nAll sorts of wonders
\nIt has been said
\nSo magically then it has led
\nAll sorts of stories
\nIn the extreme
\nLoved by the Bees
\nSo it doth seem<\/p>\n

And a certain moth
\nA fox glove pug
\nWho knows to give this flower a hug
\nIn the wild it grows
\nTo the colour pink
\nDeadly poisonous
\nWe think
\nA killer of man
\nA curative too
\nDigoxin\u2019s power
\nIs what it can do<\/p>\n

Great care is needed
\nWhen handling for
\nIt\u2019s deadly poison
\nOne musn\u2019t ignore
\nFame and beauty
\nA wondrous bell
\nThat rings and brings
\nThe kind of hell
\nAn ancient curative
\nIn its wake
\nLeave well alone
\nFor it is no fake<\/p>\n

Enjoy its magic
\nWhere ere it grows
\nIt\u2019s glycosides May well impose
\nA deadly message to anyone
\nWho partakes
