\nWild as the winds
\nThat can blow
\nWith a notion
\nTo call on the cosmos

\nHeavenly bodies
\nWho won\u2019t stop to amaze<\/p>\n
Anointed with wisdom
\nVital and true
\nLiving in Gods earth
\nMortal all through
\nUp against monsters
\nThe hunting brigade
\nAll pumped with ego
\nAnd pink lemonade<\/p>\n
Intoxication
\nAnd hearts tough as wood
\nRiding and kicking their horses
\nNot good
\nWe need more of them
\nTo be thrown in the mud
\nTarnished with funghi
\nAnd leaking their blood<\/p>\n
A day to remember
\nThe foxes who run
\nThe forested paths
\nAware of the gun
\nOf the ignorant squirrel men
\nTerriers too
\nTrained up to murder
\nIt\u2019s what they do<\/p>\n
The smell of the trees
\nOf the cover grass where
\nMany a fox will run
\nSo aware
\nOf the stench that is following
\nThe galloping breed
\nWhipping and gripping
\nAnd nipping at speed<\/p>\n
Insensitive creeps
\nOblivious too
\nWhat foxes can pick up
\nOn the morning dew
\nTheir brand of telepathy
\nTender and raw
\nThe pleasure of family
\nNo fox doth ignore<\/p>\n
They walk with pure silence
\nEach moment they feel
\nThe ugly banter
\nThe hound dogs for real
\nCoughing and spluttering
\nGasping for air
\nThe clamour and chatter
\nAnd whining they share<\/p>\n
An amazing memory
\nFor paths of escape
\nThrough thistle and Holly
\nAnd gorse their bold shape
\nDescends into holes
\nInto, inky spheres
\nOut through the churchyard
\nHe gallops my dears<\/p>\n
Fox day it\u2019s fox day
\nThe sab angels friends
\nWho value privacy
\nWhen the curtain descends
\nHiding, in hiding
\nSequestered and gone
\nEclipsed by their ignorance
\nNow out upon<\/p>\n
The plain through the grasses
\nOff up the hill
\nEach patchwork of clover and thistles
\nTo still
\nThe heartbeat a moment
\nThen across the wood
\nA flash of crimson
\nAnd foxy gone <\/p>\n
He will sleep with his lady
\nLikely upon
\nA soft wispy willow
\nBoughs of dark fluff
\nCurled up in a tangle
\nKnowing enough
\nOf the dangers externally
\nAnd the dark side
