Fat arsed tourists
\nLike the high life
\nTanked on ouzo
\nPay a price
\nRide the donkeys
\nIn Santorini
\nSee the sights
\nRoll the dice
\nThese poor sad souls
\nBecome the taxi\u2019s
\n500 steps of rigour they
\nBear the weight of sweat
\nAnd take the pain
\nI\u2019ll fitting saddles and enormous strain<\/p>\n
The Greek islands
\nSea of blue
\nWe wear those tight muzzles too
\nStanding in the hot sun, we
\nGet burned and spurned
\nWhipped and dragged
\nAnd all of this Despite our plea<\/p>\n
And cry we do
\nWounded limbs
\nAll those steps
\nThe flies that land
\nOn our scraped wounds
\nNever treated
\nSanTorini it\u2019s not that grand<\/p>\n
Thank the goddess PETA loves us
\nIt\u2019s today day of the year
\nDonkeys get a day to think of
\nOverloaded it is clear
\nSometimes two get on our backs
\nAs if one is not enough
\nTourist taxi\u2019s
\nAnd the suffering
\nBeaten really life\u2019s too tough<\/p>\n

\nGalleries and shops and places
\nall those tourists
\nPick us kick us
\nBodies racked out through our paces
\nFat arsed ouzo drinking Germans
\nToo much sausage we proclaim
\nIf you go to Santorini
\nAnd up to Fira
\nLeave us be
\nIt\u2019ll be the same<\/p>\n
Just no hurt for us
\nPoor Donks
\nWe can rest a little while
\nWe can enjoy the sights and sounds
\nAnd live a little. With a pile
\nOf hay and sunlight on our backs
