This fracking lark is gaining some momentum
\nObama and his people seem to feel
\nIf energy is actually on their doorstep
\nThen there\u2019s qudos and home producing is for real
\nHydraulic fracturing is apparently
\nAn earner it\u2019s suggested by a few
\nBut reality sees investors losing out a lot
\nFor diminishing returns actually screw
\nIt\u2019s dirty, it\u2019s a really filthy business
\nEnvironmental degradation looms
\nPaying homage to an evil deep inside the earth
\nThrough a multitude of strata\u2019s and vile plumes<\/p>\n
Deep into the palezoic era 2000-3000 feet below
\nThrough the Marcellus shale
\nThat gets ruptured when a hail
\nOf chemicals and water move it so
\nAnd the gas is then on tap
\nThe fracking over
\nExcept this sick concoction some at least
\nComes back up that old drill
\nTragically to spill
\nStored in open ponds
\nTankedZAQ off in trucks
\n16 wheelers in the operation
\nAnd all of this is costing us big bucks
\nToulene,Xylene,Arsenic,Barium, Chromium
\nCadmium,Mercury,Lead and Formaldehyde
\nThe fracking water is such an awesome cocktail
\nAnd so much of it wasted to confide<\/p>\n
With you about the waste
\nOf the earths pure water
\nFrom 1 and 1\/2 to 9 million gallons
\nThat\u2019s per drill
\nWhich is going to make the water table diminish
\nAnd the pollution and the corruptions out there still
\nTake Texas for example with so little rain
\nThe people will be needing bottle water soon
\nWhich to my mind makes the whole thing just insane
\nIn Ohio there\u2019s a 1000 wells now working
\nI\u2019m glad I don\u2019t live there , I have to say
\nPollution and corruption is completely mindless
\nBut politicians still make people pay<\/p>\n

\nFracking wells below the school
\nHang fire
\nTrees around the site are bloody dying
\n15 children suffering the world
\nAround is crying
\nTics and sick aggression and the doctors
\nHave their own ideas

\nThey fail to fear the power of tears
\nThey fail to see the wanton thrust
\nThe money grabbing powerful lust
\nThe families there now being told
