\n10 sons and 3 Daughters
\nLived their early lives
\nNewells pond
\nJust up the road
\nCarp
\nthere Perch and Bream
\nThe woods around the fields around
\nPoaching yes the cream <\/p>\n
of wildness and a reason
\nFor the family to be
\nEating well and getting by
\nLet\u2019s say creatively<\/p>\n
A wild pond deep and muddied
\nTrees bow at its edge
\nAn environment of naturalness and wonder
\nThe creator in his wisdom just might pledge
\nA right royal spirit in the dark midst
\nErring on a solid base
\nAll sorts of weed and other fish were present
\nWhere Ducks and coots certainly did grace<\/p>\n
Holy Trinity Church close to the cross roads
\nIt\u2019s great red doors unusual in a way
\nThe graveyard carrying local bodies
\nAnd all the current wild plants too
\nThe ramp out to the car park
\nWhere a cat once walked, one of the few
\nWho did so on the wet cement not dried enough apparently
\nAnd clearly left her prints for ever
\nA single trail now permanently.<\/p>\n
A kitty who seems anonymous
\nShe may not be alive today
\nA lady violinist spoke
\nOf true creativity
\nThe wealth of timbers
\nOaken pews
\nThe leaded lights
\nThe constant dues
\nThe creaking latches
\nHistory
\nStands full force
\nAnd remarkably.<\/p>\n
A Robin comes
\nA blackbird too
\nA wealth of wildlife
\nRemains the clue
\nUpon the grave stones
\nEtched with age
\nThe various names
\nScratched off the page
\nBy the force of time
\nAnd weathering
\nThough Spiritedly some even sing.<\/p>\n
