The Monastry of St Michael
\nOnce flourishing a while
\nAgo ensuring water
\nFor the pilgrims who we know
\nWould have been so thirsty
\nThe trek up from the town
\nWith their animals on summery days
\nOne had to get some down<\/p>\n
The tower stands still to this day
\nSeen by all around
\nLooking over the levels
\nThere on hallowed ground
\nCloser to the moon at night
\nAnd the sun at times when we
\nSee the great created sky scape
\nBlushing uncontrollably<\/p>\n
Taste the white Spring water
\nCold and crisp it be
\nA frosty cocktail from the bowels
\nOf the earth and it doth free
\nThe dryness from the aching throats
\nFrom the pump house down below
\nOpposite the chalice gardens
