Exasperated by it all
\nIt blows me off my feet
\nThe tousled grass stems
\nThe violent gusts
\nIt really does unseat
\nAll the possibilities in me
\nWhen it blows
\nA downdraught
\nAnd a crosswind A waft a whiff
\nWho knows
\nInspiration respiration
\nA huffing puffing pose<\/p>\n
Tempestuous blown this way
\nThen that way, but I can
\nAlmost be picked up and flying
\nThe hum the roar no plan
\nJust being in the slip stream
\nPumped up and inflated by
\nThe moisture driven fluidity
\nThat almost makes me cry<\/p>\n
Low down among the grasses
\nThe portability
\nAlmost feeling weightless
\nUnderweight and free
\nIn the world of nature
\nIt\u2019s tangibility
\nI am flesh and blood
\nAnd all things cat
\nI leap excitedly<\/p>\n
Prostration lying low
\nCreep and crawl
\nAnd suddenly haul
\nTriple jump and hopTo be alive
\nTo swallow dive
\nTo run until I stop<\/p>\n
And mum comes bounding after me
\nI can hear her heart
\nEvery revolution
\nA whirlwind at the start
\nShe\u2019s chasing, we are racing
\nSuch a frequency
\nI will let her think she is catching
\nUp
\nHer warm hands are on me<\/p>\n
Affectionate she is that
\nHer true vivacity
\nExciting in me rapture
\nOur game is fabulously
\nFree
\nMe feeling every little twinge
\nAnd electricity<\/p>\n
This mornings air cold to the touch
\nExhilaration overcomes
\nEuphoria so much to life
\nThe exercise the wavering belief
\nRunning away and leaping
\nThe indulgence and relief
\nI will follow her go in now
\nA snuggle may be do
\nSome biscuits and some soup ha ha
