When I was a little child
\nA baby my ma ma
\nBought some baby powder
\nWhere ever babies are
\nPowder for their bottoms
\nWas the thing to buy
\nBut now we learn
\nIt was potentially dangerous
\nSo really not a star
\nNo None whatsoever
\nTalc was used and some
\nAsbestos inadvertently
\nToo, that thought did numb
\nScience and consumers
\nA contaminant alas
\nUnseen in the product
\nBut genuinely there enmasse<\/p>\n
Causative of ovarian cancer
\nIn the US now we hear
\n40,000 law suits
\nSeemingly appear
\nThe company withdrew the product
\nAnd the reason given was
\nNothing to do with the asbestos
\nSomething else because<\/p>\n
Lack of sales or investment
\nBut surely they must know
\nThe contaminate was frightening
\nTo users <\/p>\n
Then they switched to corn starch
\nAnother frightful thing
\nMuch of corn is genetically modified
\nOnce again it does bring
\nNegatives to my table
\nGM products, I
\nBoycott so to consider it<\/p>\n
Again I do ask why<\/p>\n
Science goes down this road
\nGMP<\/p>\n
ought to be
\nKept away from babies products
\nIf feels so clear to me
\nIt\u2019s absolutely unclear
\nAnd we all should stay away
\nFrom Frankenstein foods and powders
\nUsed along the way<\/p>\n
