For years I have been writing
\nAbout the Dear Black Bears
\nCanada gifted these beautiful souls
\nTheir arrogance it scares
\nThe life out of me actually
\nHibernating they
\nAre often shot with bows and arrows
\nAmbushed so to say<\/p>\n
Cubs can be with Mothers
\nAnd then at risk alas
\nThe government knows only too well
\nKilling bears en mass
\nIs causing threats to families
\nSo that our guards can be
\nGiven heavy busbies
\nWhich are sensationally<\/p>\n
Cruel and cause such agony
\nFor little bears who must
\nTake on life without their mothers
\nYes and my disgust
\nAt why our Royal Guards need true fur
\nFaux fur surely now
\nShould be substituted
\nEthically it\u2019s how<\/p>\n
We safeguard the wild animals
\nMurdering them to make
\nHeadgear is
\nso wasteful
\nHere is only take take take
\nNo give, no thought, no caring
\nBoisterous infamy
\nThe government could get some love and care
\nAnd try to see<\/p>\n
It\u2019s cruel beyond the sanctity
\nOf wildness anyway
\nWhatever the King thinks
\nActually I don\u2019t give a damn
\nHe should pay
\nMore attention to
\nthe wild souls
\nAnd less attention to
\nKilling for the sake of it
