I was up at the crack of Dawn
\nWriting away
\nI shall be alone
\nBut I will be ok

\nLow down anyway
\nI have done a few chores

Not many cars about
\nLots stay put, they
\nLay in and rest
\nMums I guess, work away
\nMy mum passed years ago
\nIt is a time
\nSpent with our families
\nMine spent with a rhyme<\/p>\n
I am going to cat sit
\nSomething to do
\nShops are all closed
\nNot even a few open
\nA good thing
\nPeople can rest
\nEat too much probably
\nWhatever is best<\/p>\n
I think now of Palestine
\nOf the people there
\nWhose families murdered
\nSo much despair
\nHatred is evident
\nWhat it must be
\nLosing wives losing parents
\nAnd friends, destiny
\nPaid for, and lost
\nIn explosions and more
\nIn Gaza The West Bank
\nThe worst kind of war<\/p>\n
It sickens me so
\nLoved ones blown in the air
\nCrushed by the bombs
\nWhere is the care
\nThe love, the respect
\nFor animals too
\nWho are murdered in cold blood
\nThis factor is true<\/p>\n
I have made up the fire
\nWashed up pots from last night
\nWrote a few poems
\nThat\u2019s my delight
\nIt\u2019s a very quiet time
