Water is the new oil
\nI can now see that
\nwe waste so very much
\nof it each day
\nsome of the largest lakes
\nare being depleted
\nand rivers too
\nwhich at this rate
\nno way<\/p>\n

can we continue
\nfracking for the wastage
\nof water there is
\nfrighteningly high
\n600,000 gallons to
\n5 million
\nin just one frack alone
\nthat is sky high<\/p>\n

the aquifers are also
\ntaking some stick here
\nwater is now being
\nlost lets say
\nsomething has to be done
\nand done pretty fast
\nif the world is to continue
\non today<\/p>\n

to waste it and pollute it
\nit is sinful
\na pure resource
\nthat every being needs
\nand this pure source
\nand a huge force
\ncombined with nasty
\nchemicals
\nis used to break
\nthe marcellus shale
\nof course<\/p>\n

what comes back is
\nan evil stew of chemicals
\nwaste that cannot be drunk e’re again
\nit cannot ever be used on our
\nfood crops
\nin fact this energy search
\nis just insane<\/p>\n

Governments have not yet woken
\nup to it
\nthe science no one really knows
\nabout
\nthe oil and energy
\nis the thing now that we see
\nbut the use of water
\nreally cannot be<\/p>\n

and where have they been taking
\nall this water
\nout of lakes and rivers
\nat low cost
\nand what has happened to
\nit, its polluted
\nand has to be got rid of
\nat some cost<\/p>\n

Fracking is a wasteful
\ndirty business
\nwe have to reign it in
\nand do it soon
\nwater is more important
\nthat the corporate
\nprofit margins
\nlet’s those fat cats
