Since the World Moratorium

\nthe International Whaling Commission
\npassed its box of tricks
\nall the other countries
\ngo along with a
\nwhaling ban
\nexcept Iceland and Norway and
\nof course Japan<\/p>\n
it seems they hooked into some
\nway of getting around the act
\ntelling themselves it was for research
\nof course it wasn’t fact
\nreality is clear on this
\nbut these three carried on
\ntheir murderous acts
\nindependently and of course
\nits their big con<\/p>\n
Sea Shepherd of course has taken up the
\nchallenge and has tried
\nto fight them in the oceans
\nbut of course has been denied
\nfor all 3 do catch whales
\nand eat them
\nor sell to Japan
\nand so that pails
\ninto insignificance
\nthey get around the ban<\/p>\n
and the killers of the sea
\nare seen as right alas
\nJapan has powerful friends
\nand help comes yea en masse
\nturning a blind eye to this or that
\nthey’ve got away
\nwith aggression on the high seas
\nand making whaling pay<\/p>\n
Sea Shepherd on the other hand
\ntook the fight abroad
\nwith little ships
\nand courageous crews
\nthey harried with accord
\nup against the mighty
\nwhalers of Japan
\nthey kept the pressure building
\nand did this man for man<\/p>\n
Japan though got frustrated
\ndespite its nations needs
\nmost don’t want to eat whale meat
\nseeing great souls needs
\nare met out in the oceans
\nnot harpooned and sliced through
\nturning oceans red alas on research Nissan Maru<\/p>\n
who do they think they are kidding
\nthe people of Japan
\nhave turned away from whale meat
\nwhich was not part of the plan
\nto me its very simple
\nthese 3 countries should see
\nthe world believes its paramount
\nthat whales be left to be<\/p>\n
swimming the greatest oceans
\nfor clearly them we need
\nthey are the greatest creatures
\nleft on earth and this does lead
\nall activists to say aloud
\nIceland Norway you
\nand Japan must now adopt
\nthe principles like we all do
\nCretaceans need protecting
\nnot slaughtered every year
\nthe world Moratorium
\nhas to stick and that must be clear<\/p>\n
Sea Shepherd were the heroes
\nthey took their fight and ran
\nthe high seas and the ugliness
\nwe’ve seen from old Japan
\nPaul Watson has been hounded
\nand a number of others too
\nand the countries involved
\nin all of this
\nhave to take the view<\/p>\n
That Whales are there for saving
\nbesides they are riddled through
\nwith PCB’s and Mercury
\nand other poisons too
\nunsafe to eat in quantity
\nor be fed to those who feel
\nthey might be eating other fish
\nand whale meat they conceal.<\/p>\n
And so I sign this petition
\nthe world must realise
\nthat these 3 countries
\nuse of research is before our eyes
\na loophole that we all regret
\none that the world must fix
\nand impress upon the 3 of them
