The lives of many souls
\nit seems are taken
\ndecisions made by people
\nmark the end
\nof various earthlings
\nwho it seems were only born
\nfor our experimentation
\nwhich does send<\/p>\n
alarm bells ringing
\ninto all creation
\nfor life is valued
\nin every corner, we
\nhave no right
\nto decide to take a living soul
\nand kill it for research
\nthis should not be<\/p>\n
Universities are now the leading
\nplaces it appears
\nwhere funds are made
\navailable its down to education
\nthat is of course where
\nthe foundations laid<\/p>\n
and as such many primates
\nand other earthlings
\nhave to meet their maker
\nevery day
\nethics, really comes in to equations
\nbut wanders off again
\nfor it must pay<\/p>\n
to victimise, to torture
\nlittle creature’s strap
\nthem into gadgets and control
\nlisten to their moans and groans
\nand realize their role
\nthese are sentient babies
\nand like us they have soul<\/p>\n
the vile researchers now that is
\ndebatable
\nanyone who tortures souls to me
\nhas lost what ever they were born to carry
\nand have sunk into a sea of depravity<\/p>\n
recently in Adelaide an experiment took place
\n9 baby lambs were chosen
\nto me thats a disgrace
\nshaken baby syndrome
\nwas the condition here
\nso they man handled these babies
\n3 died of abject fear
\ntis said they were anaesthetized
\nbut still died it was clear<\/p>\n
and the other 6 got through it all
\nbut were killed for it was felt
\nthey would have been so traumatised
\nand so their cards were dealt<\/p>\n
ethic starts with e its true
\nand debate about it may
\ncome up with whatever answer
\nbut whatever, some do pay
\nthe world is full of this stuff
\nand many souls do die
\nwild animals in cages
\nfrom virgin jungles fly<\/p>\n
half way round the world
\nto be victimised and killed
\nstrapped into contraptions
\nuntil their blood is spilled<\/p>\n
concoctions dripped into their eyes
\ntheir ears, their noses too
\nto prove an acid burns
\nwhat we all now do<\/p>\n
for cleaning products
\ntoothpastes and thousands more
\nwe close
\nour ears our eyes
\nbut its no surprise
\nfor this research now shows<\/p>\n
million of sweet animals
\nare slaughtered in their prime
\ndogs and cats and primates
\nthey all run out of time<\/p>\n
and they were not created
\nto be experiments for us
\nfor some brand of eye liner
\nits a double decker bus
\nused to crack a walnut
\nand its ethically all wrong
