\ngreat shards of glass sweep upwards
\nan unfinished symphony
\nthe air creates a charge
\nof what is noticable
\n nervous energy<\/p>\n
a chill provides the understanding
\nelements that feel
\nwe’re reaching up into the clouds
\nand we are there for real
\nout across the vast expanse
\nof buildings, parks and trees
\nwatching silvery sunlight
\nhow its spiritedly did please<\/p>\n
our eyes, for we saw aura’s of splendour
\nit was there
\nthe scale was really marvellous
\nas if like birds we share
\nupwards on majestic wings
\nwe stood in awe
\nour breathing our bodies
\nall aglow
\nsucking in that mystery
\nthat came from down below<\/p>\n
up here in the heavens
\nwe see some better times
\naround us and before us
\nlike Romeo his climbs
\nlong before us humans
\nthat wild fox did his thing
\nleft his den in London Town
\nand roamed upon the wing
\nthe shard provides a multifarious
\nobjectivity
\nit gives us a perspective
\na feeling constantly
\nits lightness thrusts inexorably
\nit really does hold sway
\nthe Shard is one such building
