In London guards on horses
\nSeemingly we see
\nTourists in their bloody droves
\nPetting constantly
\nPersistently with tenacity
\nThe poor souls have to take
\nPatting scratching kissing
\nAnd steadfastly they make
\nAll this sloppy jollity
\nUnflaggingly in fact
\nExpected just to stand there
\nAnd not to re act.<\/p>\n
It really takes endurance
\nMen and women are
\nCompletely insensitive
\nThese horses are the star
\nThey don\u2019t have good intentions
\nThe animal has rights
\nBut these tourists are so selfish
\nAnd one or two get bites<\/p>\n
And then of course they grumble
\nMiserable as hell
\nWhat about the bloody horse
\nGoing through a spell
\nOf genuine annoyance
\nits mouth it\u2019s nose it\u2019s ears
\nAll that stinking perfume
\nIt\u2019s driving it to tears<\/p>\n
The guards are under pressure too
\nIf they had a choice
\nWho wants to sit and see one\u2019s horse
\nImpulsively giving a voice
\nClearly rattled by it all
\nSuffering a lot
\nAnd still they expect
\nA good picture and don\u2019t move
\nUntil they have got
