This morning
\nI was happy!
\nsitting in the yard
\nI’d just had my brekky
\na bone, boy was it hard<\/p>\n
Then, I saw my dad packing
\nmy lead, my balls, my cage
\nare we going on our hol’s
\nI found him hard to gauge<\/p>\n
I ran across to see him
\nyap at him and see
\nwhat now was he doing
\nbut he didn’t look at me<\/p>\n
no patting hand
\nno nothing
\nwhat had I done wrong
\nI chewed the kitchen stool last
\nweek
\nbut still I did belong<\/p>\n
didn’t I
\nI sensed his mood
\nhis anger and his woe
\nall those pooper scooper bags
\nin the bin did go<\/p>\n
oh dear!
\nits looking ominous
\nwhat’s to become of me
\nhe’s taking me down to the pound
\nthat’s where I must be<\/p>\n
the one way trip to no where
\na needle up the arse
\nand no one there to say byebye
\ndeath for me 3rd class<\/p>\n
stuck inside some plastic
\nbag and tossed into a truck
\ndearie me another dog
