Widespread animal slaughter
\nSharing it three ways
\nFamily relatives friends and then poor
\nDone on certain days
\nEvery family can eat meat
\nDead flesh which they believe
\nIs nutritionally necessary
\nAnd why they achieve<\/p>\n
To me an animal protestor
\nAnimal rights is key
\nMurdering the innocent
\nDoesn\u2019t sit well with me
\nWhatever other religions do
\nStill I need to say
\nNo one has the right to kill
\nAnimals any day<\/p>\n
Watching animals murdered
\nIn cold blood seems to be
\nFrighteningly obvious
\nIt should not be lawfully
\nFor religious purposes
\nA doctrine of this sort
\nDone across the free world
\nIs worthy of some thought<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t abide these massacres
\nAnd brutality
\nOf chopping down bold oxen
\nIn the street
\nIt feels to me
\nWrong and simply I feel more at ease
\nWith leave them alone<\/p>\n
Life is truthfully precious
\nSomething that they own <\/p>\n
Respect and love them <\/p>\n
