\nWho protest at Aintree
\nThey
\nCare for the horses gentility
\nTheir nobility is way
\nIn a state of wonderment
\nSo much fascination
\nHow marvellous how miraculous
\nAn enchanting relation
\nAnimals of distinction
\nHigh repute and character they
\nAre dignified and princely
\nMore so every day<\/p>\n
Jockeys trainers some of them
\nGo hunting it appears
\nFox and stag hare in the bag
\nA blankness of the fears
\nThat angels have, test animals have
\nConspicuous and acclaimed
\nAnd other horses have fallen
\nAnd having died now we are blamed<\/p>\n
The angels the protestors
\nThe numbers who had come
\nTo safeguard the slave Labour
\nThe three that died and some
\nOthers frail and fallen
\nStressed out of their minds
\nIt\u2019s the punters and the racing
\nPress that tragically now finds<\/p>\n
Reasons why it\u2019s happened
\nBlame the angels who
\nLive in the humility
\nIt is a humbling view
\nBut really not of weakness
\nIt\u2019s compassion and it\u2019s sure
\nAnd an ethic to adore
\nThe audacity tge blatancy
\nI do folks I abhor<\/p>\n
It\u2019s brashness it\u2019s presumption
\nIt\u2019s a domineering act
\nDefiance no reliance
\nIt\u2019s flippant to exact
\nSuch a slavish principle
\nUpon those who would say
\nWe have to stop them dying
